INSPIRATION
The Bible teaches creation throughout the Bible (Gen. 1-2, Mark 10:6-7, 2 Peter 3-7,13, Col. 1:16, Rev. 4:11, 14:7, etc.) as a powerful reason to worship our Creator (Rev. 4:11), but predicts deceptions about creation/the flood (2 Peter 3:3-5). God then calls people to “Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the springs of water.” (Rev. 14:7). So creation is extremely crucial for us all to focus on always, but especially in the period before Jesus comes! That is what this Creation Quest is for!

CATEGORIES & EXAMPLES

Category 1) CREATION EVANGELISM: Paul used creation to prove God to pagans (Acts 17:22-28). In this category, create a project that shares powerful evidence/proof for God as our Creator (and/or debunks deceptions about creation). Show how to use this to convince people that creation is important, it is true, helps them believe in their Creator Jesus, deepens their knowledge of their Creator, etc. If at all possible include real examples of how it’s been effective!

Examples:
A) Creation ministry efforts to encourage belief in our Creator.

CATEGORY 2) CREATION IS CRUCIAL: Creation has had profound value in solving real world problems including inspiring/advancing science, advancing human rights/justice, advancing education for all and many other things in history.

Create a project that shows how concepts and designs from our Creator are very important now to protect or improve lives, solve real world problems, ideally in relation to a major current issue.

Examples:
A) Creation based Bible studies on health to solve modern health/happiness crises (bad health costs trillions per year, creation health principles can solve a lot of that).

B) Biomimetics involves copying or being inspired by design solutions from nature to solve modern problems. Birds inspire flight designs, dragonflies inspire drone development, etc. Develop a solution based on our Creator’s designs in nature to solve a modern problem.

We’re looking for Adventist startups with impact. Each pitch gets evaluated on four levels.

Creation Connection (biblical basis)

How well does it connect to biblical creation and God’s last day call to worship the Creator (Rev. 4:11,14:7)?
How does it use the Creator’s gifts to help people?

Practical Impact (method/process/creativity)
How does it encourage people to believe in their Creator?

How does it solve a real need in the lives of people, families, churches, businesses, communities, the environment, the world etc. (testimonies, positive experiences, etc.)?

How does it impact those working for the ministry?

How appealing/winsome/creative/innovative is this approach for creationists, but especially to non-creationists?

Evangelistic/Spiritual Impact (worldview change)

How effective is it at bringing people to belief in and experiencing their Creator better (testimonies, positive experiences, etc.)?

How effective is it at bringing people to understand better the value of Creation truths (testimonies, positive experiences, etc.)?

How can it aid churches in spreading the wonderful truths of a Creator at local, conference, union, division or worldwide levels?

Intellectual Credibility (evidential basis)

How solidly is the idea based on biblical concepts of creation?

How credible is the scientific evidence that supports this creation based concept?

Sustainability (financial stability)

Can the model become self sustaining financially?

How has it performed in the past (or what evidence do you have for future performance)?
