The Islamic Worldview and Ways to Reach them for Jesus

Many want to understand the Islamic worldview and how to reach them for Jesus. Here are a few resources that can help in understanding and witnessing to Muslims.

Muslims are a large part of the 10/40 window, the last major unreached region of the world, and there are a lot in western China as well. So we need a lot of missionaries to go to those areas and evangelize them. It’s also good to reach Muslims and Chinese while here in America since there is more freedom of religion here. EGW says that many reached here in America will be useful agents to go back and bring many to faith in their home countries.

These sites have good overviews of Islam:

(quite good)

Hundreds of thousands of Muslims have had dreams of Jesus and this has led many to convert to Christianity. Many testimonies of this, resources and biblical studies are available here..

This page talks about how the Sabbath is a very important day of worship in the Quran. That is a very valuable connection point for biblical Christians who keep Sabbath (like the Seventh Day Adventists do).

One simple way to encourage Muslims to study the Bible is this:
“Some say about 70% of Arabs who have come to faith, have experienced a dream or vision….When asked what they saw, many described a Person in a white robe with His face illuminated. When the team members heard that kind of reply, one of them would open their Bibles and read from Revelation 1:13-14. “He was wearing a long robe with a gold sash across His chest. His head and His hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And His eyes were like flames of fire”

The surprising response was, “Yes! That is what I saw! What book is that?” The team explained that this passage is from the Injil. (Injil is the Arabic word for the New Testament, recognized as one of the Islamic Holy Books).

“Would you like to learn more?” they asked. Most said “yes.”

Nabeel Qureshi is a former Muslim and one of the most well known and biblical/intellectual evangelists to Muslims. He has a book here:
Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus: A Devout Muslim Encounters Christianity By Nabeel Qureshi (Zondervan, 2014)

There are several videos on youtube with him. A couple are:

Adnan Oktar is a well known, but controversial Turkish Muslim, partly because he strongly supports creation science (much of his material though may be borrowed from Christian creationist sites such as and Answers in Genesis) and has vigorously opposed Darwinism, but partly because of his political interference and anti-semitism and other things. But his site does list some very interesting statements from the Quran that point to Jesus and His 2nd coming and these could be useful:’-(pbuh)-Second-Coming

Right now, we are seeing the greatest evangelism of uslims in world history.
Sheikh Ahmad Al Katani; the president of The Companions Lighthouse for the Science of Islamic Law in Libya, which is an institution specializing in graduating imams and Islamic preachers.

“In every hour, 667 Muslims convert to Christianity. Everyday, 16,000 Muslims convert to Christianity. Ever year, 6 million Muslims convert to Christianity. These numbers are very large indeed.”
(There is a transcript of an interview with the Sheikh that has some interesting insights at the above link)

A Christian missionary to Muslim countries for decades is doing research on this change and how we can continue and expand it.
Why More Muslims Are Turning to Jesus

Hopefully these can help you in turning more hearts to Jesus, or Issa who loves the Arab people just as much as He loves all others!
